On October 8, the Korean Business Research Institute released their findings regarding the brand reputation rankings for girl groups for the month of October.
Their research is based on 36,117,320 pieces of data gather from September 6 to October 7. The data measures various indexes including participation (brands the celebrity has participated in/product consumption), media (media marketing worth), communication (ability to communicate with public) , and community (community’s perception of them/social marketing worth) to determine their brand reputation. Red Velvet had a total of 4,364,445, while Black Pink had 4,342,053 and TWICE had 3,164,138.
Taking a closer look at the analysis, BLACKPINK got 1,219,316 points for Participation Index and 164,835 points for Media Index. The girls topped the Communication Index category with 2,637,360 and had 320,542 points for Community Perception Index with a total of 4,342,053 Brand Reputation Index.
If you can recall, BLACKPINK topped last month’s girl group brand reputation ranking with a total of 7,46,374 and placed #3 on the Singer ranking as well. Despite the lack of activities (other than endorsements moonshot & St. Scott) and end of debut promos during the scope of the data gathering, BLACKPINK still stayed relevant and placed #2 overall on the girl group rankings this October.
