[NEWS] 170708 BLACKPINK Places 4th Among Girl Groups on July 2017 Brand Reputation Rankings

The Korean Business Research Institute revealed their December brand reputation rankings for girl groups. Their findings are based on 65,463,580 pieces of data collected from June 6, 2017 to July 7, 2017. The data measures various indexes including participation (brands the celebrity has participated in/product consumption), media (media marketing worth), communication (ability to communicate with public) , and community (community’s perception of them/social marketing worth) to determine their brand reputation.

Apink comes in first place with a combined brand reputation score of 6,171,154. Second place goes to Mamamoo with 6,125,777 total index points while TWICE places 3rd with a total points of 6,050,910. 4th place goes to BLACKPINK with a  brand index score of 5,724,851.

Taking a closer look at the analysis, BLACKPINK got 1,721,012 points for Participation Index and 2,049,251 points on Community Perception Index both of which are the highest on their respective categories. The girls have 1,270,872 points for Media Index and 683,716 points for Communication Index category with a total Brand Reputation Index of 5,724,851.

It can be noted that BLACKPINK has consistently been placing within Top 5 (except for the drop at #15 for June 2017 rankings) since the beginning of the year.
