BLACKPINK’s first reality program ‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’ is recording high view counts at a fast pace.
Since the first pre-release on January 6 at 9 PM through YouTube and Naver V-LIVE, the video collected 7,032,907 views in 36 hours, on January 8 at 9 PM. Furthermore, clips from ‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’ took 4 out of the top 5 most watched videos list in Naver V-LIVE on January 7.
As YG Entertainment chose an unconventional service method of ‘pre-release online and broadcasting later’ in order to cope with the needs of global fans, fans overseas are reacting enthusiastically.
According to V-LIVE charts, ‘BLACKPINK HOUSE EP.1-5’ is still at number 1 in China, Taiwan, and Mexico, while it’s placed at 2nd or 3rd place in other countries including Japan, Thailand, United States, Brazil, Vietnam, Spain, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Canada.
‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’ was created with the concept in which members of BLACKPINK, who worked restlessly since their debut get to spend a 100-day vacation in a newly built accommodation.
‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’ is gathering a lot of attention from fans as they reveal their hidden charms from the show, apart from the charismatic performances they’ve displayed on stage. The program showed the cute and unexpected charms by the members, and their kindness such as baking macaron for the neighbors. The program was a time to get to know BLACKPINK and their real daily lives.
Full of BLACKPINK’s charms, ‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’ will air every Saturday at 9 PM through YouTube and Naver V-LIVE, while the full version will be released every Sunday at 10 AM through JTBC2
