On February 25th, the Korean Business Research Institute revealed their February 2018 brand reputation rankings for singers. Their findings are based on 145,708,528 pieces of data collected from January 23 to February 14 of 2018. The data measures various indexes including participation (brands the celebrity has participated in/product consumption), media (media marketing worth), communication (ability to communicate with public) , and community (community’s perception of them/social marketing worth) to determine their brand reputation.
Wanna One comes in first place with a combined brand reputation score of 17,119,858. Second place goes to BTS while third place goes to EXO. BLACKPINK placed 8th with a total brand index score of 4,967,711.
Taking a closer look at the analysis, BLACKPINK has 236,949 points on the Participation Index category while getting 1,018,273 points for Media Index. For the Communication Index category the group got 2,946,712 points and 765,776 points for Community Perception Index with a total Brand Reputation Index of 4,967,711.
For the past 3 months, BLACKPINK has remained within the Top 15 of the list, being at 11th place on December 2017 & 15th on January 2018.
