The Korean Business Research Institute revealed their March 2018 brand reputation rankings for girl groups. Their findings are based on 77,029,078 pieces of data collected from February 8 to March 9 of 2018.
The data measures various indexes including participation (brands the celebrity has participated in/product consumption), media (media marketing worth), communication (ability to communicate with public) , and community (community’s perception of them/social marketing worth) to determine their brand reputation.
Red Velvet comes in first place with a combined brand reputation score of 6,751,331. Second place goes to TWICE while third place goes to Mamamoo. BLACKPINK placed 6th with a total brand index score of 4,262,975.
Taking a closer look at the analysis, BLACKPINK has 231,880 points on the Participation Index category while getting 730,056 points for Media Index. For the Communication Index category the group got 1,630,066 points and 1,670,973 points for Community Perception Index with a total Brand Reputation Index of 4,262,975.
From December 2017 until March 2018, BLACKPINK has consistently ranked within top 6 of the list.
