Group BLACKPINK released their first-ever mini album and explained that the title song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ feels like “Casting a strong spell”.
On June 15 at 2 PM, BLACKPINK had a press conference at M Cube located in Sinsa-Dong, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their first mini album ‘SQUARE UP’.
The members started out by stating, “We did our best and sincerely prepared for our album, since it’s our comeback in 1 year”.
JISOO added, “All tracks from the album contains our affections and sincerity, so please look forward to it”.
All tracks from the album were produced by TEDDY, who has been working with BLACKPINK ever since they first made debut, including the title song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ and the sub-title song ‘FOREVER YOUNG’.
Their first mini album which has the meaning of ‘Let’s fight’ and ‘Let’s verse one another’ contains the message of ‘standing tall’, and contains 4 tracks including the title song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’, ‘FOREVER YOUNG’, ‘REALLY’, and ‘SEE U LATER’.
