The Korean Business Research Institute revealed their July 2018 brand reputation rankings for singers. Their findings are based on 99,012,960 pieces of data collected from June 26 to July 27 of 2018.
The data measures various indexes including participation (brands the celebrity has participated in or product consumption), media (media marketing worth), communication (ability to communicate with public) , and community (community’s perception of them/social marketing worth) to determine their brand reputation.
BLACKPINK comes in first place with a combined brand reputation score of 10,611,005, a huge increase from their May index of 2,328,316. Taking a closer look at the analysis, BLACKPINK has 2,229,766 points on the Participation Index category while they lead on the Media Index category with 2,826,878 points. For the Communication Index category the group got 3,595,378 points and 1,958,982 points for Community Perception Index.
The Korean Business Research Institute shared that the words “pretty,” “fresh,” and “precious” ranked high in BLACKPINK’s keyword analysis, while link analysis showed that the highest-ranking related terms included “Jennie,” “Running Man,” and “Billboard.” Their positivity-negativity analysis showed 81.33 percent positive reactions.
From March-April 2018 until July 2018, BLACKPINK has consistently ranked within top 10 of the list.
