The Korean Business Research Institute revealed their August 2018 brand reputation rankings for girl groups. Their findings are based on 136,128,805 pieces of data collected from July 9 to August 10 of 2018, an increase of 15.91% from last month.
The data measures various indexes including participation (brands the celebrity has participated in or product consumption), media (media marketing worth), communication (ability to communicate with public) , and community (community’s perception of them/social marketing worth) to determine their brand reputation.
BLACKPINK comes in first place with a combined brand reputation score of 15,620,476.
Taking a closer look at the analysis, BLACKPINK has 1,284,248 points on the Participation Index category while having 5,964,024 points on the Media Index category. They lead way ahead on the Communication Index category with 4,128,667 which can be attributed to their constant Instagram updates. The group also got 4,243,537 points for Community Perception Index.
