The Korean Business Research Institute revealed a new comprehensive list of December 2018 brand reputation rankings for singers. Their findings are based on 138,932,416 pieces of data collected from November 23 to December 24 of 2018, an increase of 30.41% % from the October survey.
The data measures various indexes including participation (brands the celebrity has participated in or product consumption), media (media marketing worth), communication (ability to communicate with public) , and community (community’s perception of them/social marketing worth) to determine their brand reputation.
BLACKPINK grabs the 3rd spot with a combined brand reputation score of
8,894,832. Jennie is also newly included in the brand reputation analysis with a brand reputation index of 5,547,593.
Taking a closer look at the analysis, BLACKPINK has 312,927 points on the Participation Index category while having 2,717,515 points on the Media Index category. On the Communication Index category, the group got 2,905,438 while getting 2,958,951 points for Community Perception Index.
Jennie, on the other hand, got 448,667 points on the Participation Index category while having 1,651,737 points on the Media Index category. On the Communication Index category, our shining soloist got 1,477,421 while getting 1,969,768 points for Community Perception Index.
BLACKPINK dropped one spot from the October rankings but increased their overall brand reputation index points. Congrats to the girls!
