The Korean Business Research Institute revealed a new comprehensive list of December 2018 brand reputation rankings for idol groups. Their findings are based on 218,947,961 pieces of data of 100 idol groups collected from November 27 to December 28 of 2018, an increase of 22.84% % from the September survey.
The data measures various indexes including participation (brands the celebrity has participated in or product consumption), media (media marketing worth), communication (ability to communicate with public) , and community (community’s perception of them/social marketing worth) to determine their brand reputation.
BLACKPINK took the 3rd spot with a combined brand reputation score of 11,625,490.
Taking a closer look at the analysis, BLACKPINK has 674,784 points on the Participation Index category while having 2,229,340 points on the Media Index category. On the Communication Index category, the group got 5,634,760 while getting 3,086,607 points for Community Perception Index.
BLACKPINK maintained their position from the September rankings and increased their overall brand reputation index points. Congrats to the girls!
