The Korean Business Research Institute revealed their January 2019 brand reputation rankings for girl group individual members. Their findings are based on 111,810,359 pieces of data collected from December 17, 2018 to January 18, 2019, an increase of 4.75% from last month’s survey.
The data measures various indexes including participation (brands the celebrity has participated in or product consumption), media (media marketing worth), communication (ability to communicate with public) , and community (community’s perception of them/social marketing worth) of 432 girl group members to determine their brand reputation.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 4,420,723, marking a 25.56% increase in her score since last month.
High-ranking phrases in Jennie’s keyword analysis included “Golden Disc,” “Kai,” and “dating,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “love,” “heart-fluttering,” and “heartache.” Her positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 82.46% positive reactions.
Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé on the other hand, ranked at 4th, 23th and 25th places, respectively, all rising from last month’s ranking.
Jennie was 2nd place on last month’s ranking while Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa were at 13th, 37th and 47th places, respectively.
