The Korean Business Research Institute revealed a new comprehensive list of February 2019 brand reputation rankings for girl groups. Their findings are based on 120,321,655 pieces of data collected from January 8 to February 9 of 2019, an increase of 11.09% from last month’s survey.
The data measures various indexes including participation (brands the celebrity has participated in or product consumption), media (media marketing worth), communication (ability to communicate with public) , and community (community’s perception of them/social marketing worth) to determine their brand reputation.
BLACKPINK topped this month’s rankings once again with a brand reputation index of 14,304,082, which is a 14.85 percent decrease in their score since January. High-ranking phrases in BLACKPINK’s keyword analysis included “Jennie,” “Golden Disc,” and “United States,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “cute” “warm,” and “love.” The group’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 71.53 percent positive reactions.
Taking a closer look at the analysis, BLACKPINK has 402,356 points on the Participation Index category while having 5,164,664 points on the Media Index category. On the Communication Index category, the group got 3,989,505 while getting 4,747,557 points for Community Perception Index.
BLACKPINK maintained its #1 spot from last month’s girl group rankings in January 2019. Congrats to the girls!
