Marking Rosé’s birthday on February 11th, YG has dropped a studio audio recording of our Chaengie’s cover of Halsey’s “Eyes Closed” which she sang at BLACKPINK’s Japan Arena Tour in 2018 as part of her solo stage. We were supposed to be giving her a gift, but we, BLINKs, received a soothing present instead. Listen to the angelic voice of our main vocal below!
Rosé later shared the cover on her personal Instagram account saying this song has been one of her favourites for a very long time, that it is such a deep song and remembered at the time when she recorded it, she was needing some of the healing that this song brings.
