The Korean Business Research Institute revealed a new comprehensive list of February 2019 brand reputation rankings for idol groups. Their findings are based on 155,774,903 pieces of data of 100 idol groups collected from January 22 to February 23 of 2019, an increase of 28.85% from the September survey.
The data measures various indexes including participation (brands the celebrity has participated in or product consumption), media (media marketing worth), communication (ability to communicate with public) , and community (community’s perception of them/social marketing worth) to determine their brand reputation.
BLACKPINK took the 2nd spot with a combined brand reputation score of 9,004,399.
Taking a closer look at the analysis, BLACKPINK has 550,704 points on the Participation Index category while having 1,235,131 points on the Media Index category. On the Communication Index category, the group got 3,057,936 while getting 4,160,628 points for Community Perception Index.
BLACKPINK rose a spot from the December 2018 rankings. Congrats to the girls!
