[INFO] BLACKPINK Wins Best 3 New Artists (Asia) at The 32nd Japan Gold Disc Awards

BLACKPINK has been awarded as one of the Best 3 New Artists in the Asia Category along with BtoB and TWICE at the 32nd Japan Gold Disc Awards (2018).

The Recording Industry Association of Japan organized this event to award artists based on music and video sales each year. The 32nd Japan Gold Disc Awards winners were based on the sales results from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017. No ceremony is held for the Japan Gold Disc Awards.

Along with the announcement of their win, JGDA has listed down and described BLACKPINK’s Japanese activities and accomplishments.

BLACKPINK - BEST 3 NEW ARTISTS (ASIA DIVISION)

BLACKPINK is the “next generation girl crush” group of 4 members formed by YG ENTERTAINMENT. Not only in Asian countries such as South Korea and Japan, but the quartet has also taken the western music industry by storm.
