On the 6th of April, around 1AM KST, BLACKPINK’s music video for ‘WHISTLE’ has reached 200M YouTube views. This new milestone was achieved just 4 days after ‘STAY‘ music video hit 100M views and thus ‘WHISTLE‘ becomes BLACKPINK’s 4th MV to get 200M+ views!
BLACKPINK’s music video for ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’ was chosen as 2017’s most-loved K-Pop video in the world.
According to YouTube on December 13, BLACKPINK’s hit single, ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’ was ranked at number 1 as the most-loved K-Pop video in the world. The official music video for ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’ currently has 198,250,000 views, and is about to surpass 200 million views.
BLACKPINK has made it big on the global stage.
On September 7, Billboard announced its list of YouTube’s Top 25 Songs of the Summer. BLACKPINK’s “As If It’s Your Last” was on the list, proving the group’s popularity.
Other artists on the list are Luis Fonsi, who music video posted three billion views for the first time in the history of YouTube, and Ed Sheeran, who was on Billboard’s top 10 singles chart for the longest time.
After achieving the 100 million view mark with four of their music videos, the music video of BLACKPINK’s “BOOMBAYAH” has surpassed 200 million views.

BLACKPINK has already set remarkable records with substantial number of views for their music videos. The music video of BLACKPINK’s “As If It’s Your Last” surpassed 100 million views on August 8 in the morning. The number was reached within 46 days of the song’s release, which is the shortest-ever period of time for a K-Pop group. The record is all the more remarkable when considering the fact that BLACKPINK made debut only a year ago.
Now, BLACKPINK has four music videos that have surpassed 100 million views, as well as a video that has surpassed whopping 200 million views. Those numbers are proving BLACKPINK’s global potential and influence.
In the meantime, BLACKPINK wrapped up the performances for their new single “As If It’s Your Last”, in MBC “Music Center” and SBS “Park Jin Young’s Party People” on August 12.
