On October 25 at 10 AM, YG Entertainment revealed an image poster that included the phrase, ‘JENNIE SOLO November 12, 2018’ through their official blog.
On October 25th, YG revealed the teaser for Jennie’s solo! CEO Yang Hyun Suk has previously revealed that all BLACKPINK will start doing solo projects one by one with Jennie being the first to do so followed by Rosé.
Jennie’s solo will be heard and witnessed first hand by BLINKs at BLACKPINK’s first domestic solo concert in Seoul on November 10 and 11. Song will then be dropped the day after on November 12.
YG’s representative said “Jennie will showcase her skills that she gained from 6 years of training through her solo activities”.
